Drop-in virtual office hours (for Faculty and Staff)
If you have preliminary questions about the feasibility of using the ORCA for your assessments and courses, you’re welcome to send an email to orca.support@ubc.ca. For more complex queries or if you think a 1:1 meeting would be useful (for e.g., pedagogical support, technical or logistical questions), we encourage you to attend our weekly virtual office hours.

Tour of ORCA (for Faculty and Staff)
We are happy to announce weekly 30-min tours of ORCA for faculty members and staff interested in learning more about ORCA!

Please register for the tour at least 30-mins in advance so we know you’re coming. Tours will all be held in Room 014 of the ICCS building.

If you’re a student having trouble booking a session for your course, please be sure to include the following information so we can help you:
- CWL
- Course (and section, if there are more than one)
- Instructor
- A clear description of the issue you’re having, and what steps (if any) you’ve taken to address the problem
You are welcome to use AI tools to proofread or edit your work, but out of respect for our staff (and for faster service!), we ask that you refrain from sending vague, non-specific AI-generated emails and responses.
